Recently, the Construction and Urban Development Subcommittee of the China Russia Prime Ministers' Regular Meeting Committee (hereinafter referred to as the "Subcommittee") held its fifth meeting in Beijing to summarize the work of the previous stage and deploy the work for 2026. Dong Jianguo, Deputy Minister of Housing and Urban Rural Development and Chinese Chairman of the Subcommittee, and Stasis, Deputy Minister of Construction, Housing and Public Utilities of the Russian Federation and Russian Chairman of the Subcommittee, attended the meeting and signed the meeting minutes.
The meeting believes that the 2025 work plan of the sub committee has been effectively implemented, and professional discussions on urban planning and construction, engineering construction standards, prefabricated buildings, etc. have continued to deepen. Cooperation on design budget document standards has been steadily promoted, and exchanges and cooperation among young professionals have continued. Cooperation between relevant institutions and academic associations has become increasingly close.
The meeting emphasized that both sides will deepen sub committee cooperation, further strengthen exchanges and mutual learning, promote the continuous achievement of new results in the construction and urban development of their respective countries, enhance the well-being of the two peoples, and promote their respective development and revitalization.
The meeting proposed that both sides will continue to improve the cooperation mechanism, expand and deepen cooperation in the construction of "good houses", "urban lifeline" safety projects, digital and artificial intelligence technology applications, etc., and build a cooperation platform for mayors and young professionals of the two countries to explore capacity building cooperation.
The Deputy Minister of Construction, Housing and Public Utilities of the Russian Federation, Muzichenko, as well as representatives from relevant units such as the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Commerce of the two countries, attended the meeting.
